Blah…
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I didn’t get much of anything done this past weekend. Real life intruded, but mostly in the form of sleeping in and watching sappy chick-flick movies on tv instead of anything else. I did trade a couple emails with Winter about directions I could take with the Flower Queen’s Daughter, but didn’t get very far with that. I spent this morning dealing with food plans and the grocery store, so not much today either. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
BTW, running an iPod Shuffle through the washer isn’t the best way to treat it. They get cranky and so does your son when he realizes it was his that you’re talking about. It’s charging again, so it seems to be drying out. Looks like it completely lost its charge, so I’ll see how it does when I get back from picking up the kids. The headphones were fine this morning when I tried them in my shuffle.
Ach, worry not. I’m SURE those wheels in your head will be turning and you’ll be cranking words, tweaking plots and creating mayhem again in no time. You wouldn’t be human if you didn’t go through a slump now and then.
Uh, you ARE human, right? 😛
I won’t buy mine an iPod because it prolly would end up in the wash or the toilet or something…
I would just like to say – as someone who doesn’t own an iPod – if you wanted to get rid of yours, you have my address 🙂
Yes, Unhinged, as the iPod going through the washer proves, I am human. =) I’m just feeling whiny, I guess. Being tired does that to me. Completely ruins my ability to focus too.
We’ve done pretty well with them, Winter. They’ve survived 3 months. Only problems we’ve had is this one in the washer and the girl’s got dropped and slid down into the crack between the elevator and the floor along with some DS games about a month after Christmas. *grumble* We did get those back within a week when the elevator people came for a regular call — otherwise, it would have been $250 to call them out just to get ’em out.
And uh, Bria… I don’t think either kid would willingly part with theirs at this point. =( Not sure you want this one anyway, it’s currently not holding a charge. I let it sit in the window in the sun to bake a little longer today. We’ll see what happens. I nearly thumped the boy when he said he’d take a red one. *eyeroll*
Haaay.
How can I get a nifty avatar like everybody else?
Unhinged, if you sign up for a free wordpress.com account, you can add one there just like the blogger ones. You do NOT have to start a blog to use the account and avatar. I had one way before I decided I was going to set up a blog.
Sounds like something my son would leave in his pockets when I do laundry! I’ve got something for you at my blog. Come by and pick it up!
*hurries over and unwraps the neatly tied package*
Thanks, Kat! I’ll be sure to share the love.
Now, to find a nice place to hang it…
