Mid-Nov WTH?
This is the weather forecast I was greeted with for the week when I sat down this morning. Sixty-four to eighty-seven? I foresee another round of colds and nonsense in the near future. *sigh*
It’s bad enough I haven’t really seen seasons in action for the past dozen years or so, but do we have to try to cram the temperature changes into one week like this? I’d rather settle for the leaves changing pretty colors instead, yanno?
Yeah, type my zipcode in and you’ll feel better 🙂
Hehe. I’m sure. I’m just tired of swinging back and forth from one extreme to the other. I’d like my A/C off for good. At least we’re not quite to the point of A/C during the day and heat at night.
lol, I turned my heat on last month and it’s staying on, thank you. It’s cold up here. Although–and this is the part I don’t get–WHY do people run around in birkenstocks and shorts in forty five degree weather? And when did people stop using umbrellas? I’ve seen so many people sitting at bus stops in the pouring rain without even a plastic bag over their heads. And they have kids with them, and make me feel like some kind of uncaring grinch. Everyone does it. Seattle *pfft*
87 degrees is nice. 🙂
Umbrellas? You can only find them here in the stores when it actually rains. They don’t WANT you to be prepared.
It’s about 66o here in the house this morning. It was downright cold at times last night. The kids are starting to complain about getting out of bed in the mornings because it’s “FREEEZING, Mom!” They’re such thin-blooded creatures.
Arrrgh. They’re now calling for 90 on Friday and 95 on Saturday. Insane. Sigh.
Well, as someone who used to live in the freezing midwest where it’s cold AND dark in the morning (which makes it REALLY TOUGH to get out of bed), and now as someone who lives in a two-season city (Los Angeles), I can tell you this:
No matter where you are, the grass is always greener somewhere else.
When I was in Indiana, I longed for the sun and higher temps. Now that I’m here in Los Angeles, I long for the cold. Not the snow and the deep, deep cold, but just the sense of FALL. That’d be nice.
I miss Fall. sniff
I don’t think anyone is going to see this comment, but – yesterday, here in Houston, it was 75 or so. Tonight it snowed. We’re used to weird weather, but holy crap….trying to get my daughter to come inside and go to bed was so not fun.
That’s amazing, Holly! Reminds me of living in Austin. If you don’t like the weather, just wait 15 minutes. LOL
I’m jealous that she got to play in the snow. I remember the one time it snowed while we were in Austin. Fun time as long as you weren’t on the road! 😉
btw, I’m around, I just have been too busy to have time to turn around let alone blog lately. C’mon February!
HEY!!!! How are you? Happy new year!!!!!!
