Tagged!
I’ve been tagged again. This time by Dana Belfry.
You’re feeling: lazy and unmotivated
To your left: the fireplace, I’m on the laptop in the living room
On your mind: since DH took today off work, what we’re going to do this weekend that’s fun and impulsive as opposed to what we SHOULD do this weekend that’s not so fun — DS voted for Vegas, go figure. Don’t know how much writing I’m going to get done this weekend.
Last meal included: Breakfast was Stonyfield Farms Chocolate Truffle yogurt
You sometimes find it hard to: do all the things I’m supposed to be doing instead of all the things I want to be doing
The weather: clear, breezy and heading for the upper 80s this weekend
Something you have a collection of: all of my own? Hmmm. that leaves out the books, CDs, DVDs, video games for every console known to man… cookbooks and Longaberger baskets!
A smell that cheers you up: hot chocolate
A smell that can ruin your mood: burnt popcorn
How long since you last shaved: if DH doesn’t have to, why should I? *halo*
The current state of your hair: pulled back in a ponytail
The largest item on your desk/workspace (not computer): Desk? Where’s that? Oh yeah… it’s that big thing I rarely sit at since I got a laptop for Christmas. Biggest thing on it would be our HP Officejet 9130 printer.
Your skill with chopsticks: decent, but rice and noodles still often escape me
Which section do you head for first in a bookstore: if I’m not drug off to the kids section: romance, then F/SF/Mystery
Something you’re craving: chocolate, always…
Your general thoughts on the presidential race: NEXT!
How many times have you been hospitalized this year: zero!
Favorite place to go for a quiet moment: the bathroom — I’m a mom, but it doesn’t always work
You’ve always secretly thought you’d be a good: romance writer…. hmmm… guess that one’s not so secret any more! And the jury’s still out…
Something that freaks you out a little: TMI and how much some people are willing to share with complete strangers
Something you’ve eaten too much of lately: chocolate
You have never: had a professional manicure — I should
You never want to: get up early in the morning
The four people I’m tagging: MJ Fierstein, Unhinged, Morgan St. John, and Gina Ardito
Just giving you a hard time Kaige, it doesn’t bother me, they are kind of fun. I just like to complain. Did you see the cowboys on hot and bothered? The middle one is mine. 😉
I can’t help but notice how often chocolate comes up on your list! 🙂 And you really should go get a manicure – lots of fun being pampered!
ugh, I’ve never had a manicure. Just the thought of someone shoving a stick up under my cuticles brings “torture” to mind. It’s hard enough to hie me to a hair saloon.
Why don’t you buy some weird and funky nail color, like bright metallic gold glitter, or irridescent blue, or bright screaming lavender? That way you could try something out and if you didn’t like it, you could wipe it off. 🙂
Yes, Kat, my name is Kaige and I am a chocoholic. 🙂
It’s not so much about polish or acrylics, Jodi. I’ve never had decent let alone long nails as mine break and tear super easily. They’re just getting back to where you can feel them past the tips of my fingers again. My wanting to go is more about having them shaped properly and maybe finding a better way to take care of them. I am so not a girly girl (the look of this blog is SO the exception LOL).
It’s probably been a year since I’ve had my hair cut/trimmed too. It needs it. It’s getting caught under my arms again. Hate that. It hasn’t gotten caught in the car door lately, but then I haven’t been wearing it down either.
YAY! You’re the only one of my taggees (as opposed to tagger I suppose) who did this!
I’ve had pro manicures. It’s not nearly as freaky as you would expect. And my nails, no matter how disastrous looking when I walked in, always come out looking okay.
Perhaps I will drag you to a nail place when you come up here. There is strength in numbers. 🙂
So…you REALLY don’t want to hear details of my hysterectomy?! I’m shocked 😉
I’ve been feeling unmotivated lately as well. Not sure why.
